This section provides a step-by-step guide for users who wish to restore a wallet using a previously obtained mnemonic. Follow these steps to restore your wallet.
Step 1: Click the 'Start' button.
Step 2: Select [Mnemonic] under ‘Account Recovery’.
Step 3: Enter the PIN code you will use for the app wallet. *** Note:** The PIN code consists of four digits and one letter. This PIN code is used to unlock the app or execute transactions. Once set, the PIN code cannot be changed, so please set and manage it securely.
Step 4: Enter the mnemonic for wallet restoration and click 'Next'.
Step 5: Confirm the entered mnemonic and click 'Next' again.
Step 6: Select the wallet you wish to use in the Cosmostation app wallet and click 'Restore Wallet'. Tip: You can easily add wallet addresses anytime while using. You do not need to select all the wallets you will use on this screen. Advanced Setting: If you used a different HD path when initially creating the wallet, you can change the HD path in the upper right corner. Cosmostation supports HD paths from 0 to 9. By default, wallet creation is recommended on HD path 0.
Step 7: Enter an account name and click 'Confirm'.
Users can also restore and use a wallet using a private key, not just a mnemonic.
Step 1: Click the ‘Start’ button.
Step 2: Select the ‘Restore with Private Key’ option from the menu.
Step 3: Enter the PIN code you will use for the app wallet.
Step 4: Enter the ‘Private Key’ for wallet restoration and click ‘Create Account’.
